In the past two years, XTiming Accelerator Program has helped over 2,000+ Indie Game Developers reach global audiences and increase monetization with data-driven technology and expertise. To gather with our XTiming partners, we held a salon on July 30th and 31st in Shanghai, where one of the gaming industry’s biggest events took place, ChinaJoy 2021.

 

The Shanghai salon was the second XTiming Partners Conference after Xiamen which brought together developers to share industry insights. During the salon, our XTiming team members shared about the challenges and prospects facing developers when going global. As the top grossing region for mobile games, the Western market is an obvious target for developers looking to increase monetization, but it’s extremely nuanced and diverse. Specifically focusing on the players, monetization and ad preferences of trending genres and gameplays in the United States and Mexico, our XTiming members helped developers gain better insights into market trends and avoid localization pitfalls.

 

The salon attracted over 70 developer teams in two days. The needs and concerns we received will help our XTiming Accelerator Program optimize to better serve developers. In the near future, the XTming Partners Conference will be held across other cities in China dedicated to helping developers expand globally and take our partnerships to the next level.
